It is estimated that there are 40,000 children living in 830  children’s homes in Kenya.

These homes play a very important role by providing safety, love and a sense of belonging for children who have been neglected, abused or lost one or both parents.

Most of the children’s homes in Nairobi are situated in the informal settlements. They provide food, shelter and protection for these children who face numerous barriers to access these basic needs.

Our center is located in Soweto in Kayole, one of the informal settlements in Nairobi. Most children in these are orphans living in abject poverty, some have been neglected, physically and sexually abused while some are living with HIV.

We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of these children by providing a safe place that they would call home. We provide basic needs with the help of donations. We help them learn basic skills, engage in recreational activities, spiritual and social growth as well as counselling services.

Our centre like any other has numerous needs experienced by the children that we host and it would be a kind gesture to show love and care by offering support.

You could sponsor a child by paying their school fees. This enables the child to achieve the goal for education and reach their full potential.

You could also support by donating scholastic materials such as books, pens that help retain children in school.

You can support the feeding program through donating foodstuffs.

You can also be a voice for these children who cannot speak for themselves by advocating for them. Share with friends and family or post on your social media and this could attract a sponsor or donor.

We welcome you to our centre to come spend time with the children as well as get to learn more about us.
